Fiber is the mainstream laser cutting mode in the market at present, because of its fast speed, high precision, smooth cutting surface,it mainly used for cutting carbon steel, stainless steel. The main three major parts are laser source (MAX, Raycus, IPG), laser cutting head (Raytools, WSX, Precitec), chiller (HanLi, S&A). Other consumables that need to be replaced frequently are: laser protective lens, laser nozzle, laser ceramic etc.

Laser Nozzle、Laser Cutting Machine Ceramic Ring、Laser Protective Lens、Focusing Collimating Lens etc.

There are many calibers for the nozzle,such as 0.8， 1.0， 1.2， 1.4， 1.5， 1.8， 2.0， 2.5， 3.0， 3.5， 4.0， 4.5， 5.0， 6.0mm etc.
At present, the commonly used calibers are 1.5 and 2.0mm.the difference:
1. Thin plate below 3mm：Use 1.5, the cutting surface will be thin; use 2.0, the cutting surface will be thicker, and the corners are prone to melting stains.
2. Thick plate over 3mm：Because of the high cutting power, the relative heat dissipation time is longer, and the relative cutting time is also increased.Use 1.5,The gas diffusion area is small, so it is unstable in use, but it's still can be used;use 2.0, The gas diffusion area is large and the gas flow rate is slow, so it is stable during cutting.
3. For 2.5mm caliber,it's suitable for the thick plate over 10mm.
In summary, the nozzle caliber has a great impact on cutting and perforation quality.so you have to choose the correct caliber according to the thickness of the cutting material.or the life of the focus lens will be shortened, because the spark of melt splashes during cutting, the probability of bouncing up is very high, which will damage the focus lens.
Application: Raycus MAX Raytools Series Precitec Laser Cutting Head
